Anaerobic Flange Sealant: 510, 515, 518

515 is used for machined metal flanges. Medium strength. For gaps up to 0.25 mm. 30 min fixture time.
515 is a medium strength (6 N/mm² tensile shear strength), medium cure speed, methacrylate-based industrial gasketing product designed for machined, rigid metal flanges. The product, which cures anaerobically, is suitable for gaps up to 0.25 mm. It is used typically as a form-in-place product for pumps, thermostats, compressors, transmission housings and axle covers.

510 Anaerobic Plane Sealant

How to Use:

1. For best performance bond surfaces should be clean and free from grease.

2. The product is designed for close fitting flange parts with gaps up to 0.25 mm ( in).

3. Apply manually as a continuous bead or by screen printing to one surface of the flanges.

4. Low pressures may be used when testing to confirm a complete seal immediately after assembly and before curing.

5. Flanges should be tightened as soon as possible after assembly to avoid shimming.
